How to Use RETR Agent Social to Engage with Real Estate Agents on Instagram

In today’s real estate market, access to an agent’s social media presence can be just as valuable as access to their phone number or email address. RETR’s social media feature helps users discover, evaluate, and engage with top real estate agents directly from within the RETR platform.

 Agent Social is a RETR feature that lets you view and engage with real estate agents’ Instagram posts without leaving RETR. You can like, comment, share, favorite, and follow agents. It’s included with Annual and Enterprise plans. 

 

 

What Is RETR Agent Social?

Agent Social is a built-in RETR tool for viewing and engaging with real estate agents’ Instagram activity from their RETR profiles. It’s separate from the standard social media links on agent profiles. Instead of linking out, it shows an agent’s latest posts, photos, and videos right in RETR, so you can engage with them there.

Social media can be just as valuable as a phone number or email for building agent relationships. Agent Social helps you find, evaluate, and connect with top agents through timely, relevant engagement.

How to View and Engage with an Agent’s Instagram Posts

Step 1: Open the agent’s profile
Search for a real estate agent and open their RETR profile.

Step 2: Turn on the social media toggle
Select the social media toggle at the top of the profile. It’s available when RETR has the agent’s social media handle.

Step 3: Browse the agent’s posts
View the agent’s latest Instagram posts, photos, and videos.

Step 4: Engage with their content
From RETR, you can:

  • ✅ Like posts
  • ✅ Comment on posts
  • ✅ Share content
  • ✅ Favorite posts
  • ✅ Follow the agent

Tip: If an agent posts about a recent closing or a career milestone, leave a congratulations comment to start building the relationship.

How to Find Real Estate Agents by Social Media Activity

Use Social Search to find agents who are actively posting on Instagram in a specific area.

Step 1: Go to Find Agents
Click Find Agents.

Step 2: Select Social Search
Choose Social Search.

Step 3: Choose a location
Search by state, county, or city.

Step 4: View recent posts
Browse recent Instagram posts from agents active in that area.

What Agent Details Can I See While Viewing Social Posts?

While viewing an agent’s post in RETR, you can also see:

  • Follower count
  • Number of posts
  • Recent sales activity
  • Agent performance insights
  • Other available profile details

Together, these give you a fuller picture of the agent’s social presence, professional activity, and influence.

Which Social Media Platforms Does RETR Support?
