How to Search Mortgage Companies, Brokers, and Credit Unions in RETR

Finding mortgage companies — including brokers and credit unions (CUs) — is simple with RETR. Follow these steps to search, filter, and export results efficiently.

Step 1: Navigate to Mortgage Company Search
Go to the Mortgage tab and select "Find Companies/Branches."

Step 2: Choose the Right Search Option
Several search methods are available, including name search and map search. For the broadest results, select "Companies (Including Branches)" under the Rankings & Market Shares section.

Step 3: Set Your Sales Area & Time Period
Choose a Sales Area (e.g., By State), select your specific region and time frame (e.g., Virginia, 12 months), then click "Show Rankings."

Step 4: Sort & Filter Your Results
Use the sort and filter options to refine results by your preferred parameters.

• You can export selected results
• You cannot save results to a list or push them to your CRM at this time

Step 5: Filter by Office Type (Brokers, IMBs, or Credit Unions)
To narrow results by office type, click "Show Rankings", then open the "More" filter and select "Office Type" to filter by:

• Brokerages / Brokers
• Independent Mortgage Banks (IMBs)
• Credit Unions (CUs)
