How to Find Refinance Opportunities with the Refi Finder in RETR

 The Refi Finder in RETR helps loan officers find past clients and homeowners who may be ready to refinance. You can search by location, filter and sort the results, and save the opportunities you find to a list for outreach. 

How to Search for Refi Opportunities in RETR

You can search for refinance opportunities in two ways: with a traditional search or a map search. The steps below are for the traditional search. The map search works in a similar way.

Step 1: Go to the Mortgage tab
Click the Mortgage tab.

Step 2: Open Find Opportunities
Select “Find Opportunities.”

Step 3: Open the Refi Finder
Select “Refi Finder.”

Step 4: Choose a location
When the search page loads, pick a “Location” to see refinance opportunities in that area.

 In the Refi Finder, the location search is limited to city, county, or ZIP code. There is no state or nationwide search option. 

How to Filter and Sort Refi Finder Results

To narrow your results, use the filters above the results list. You can also:

  • Sort the results to change the order they appear in
  • Change the number of results shown on each page

How to Save Refi Opportunities to a List

Step 1: Select opportunities
Check the boxes on the left side of the results next to the opportunities you want to save.

Step 2: Click a green “Save to List” option

  • Bulleted list icon: Saves the opportunities to the list you used last.
  • Arrow icon: Shows your other lists so you can choose one or create a new one.

Step 3: Create a new list (optional)
To save to a new list, click “Create New List,” give the list a name, click “Create List,” and then select it.

Step 4: Confirm
Confirm that you want to add the opportunities. RETR will then give you a link to view the list.

Where Can I Find My Saved Refi Lists?

You can see your saved refinance lists in two ways:

Can I merge lists?

No, lists can not be merged at this time. If you need to move names from one list to another, this will need to be done manually.

Can I search the Refi Finder by property address?

Not directly. A Refi Finder search can’t start from a property address. After you run a search by location, you can use the Filter search bar on the far right above the results to look for a specific address.

  • ✅ You can search refinance opportunities by location (traditional or map search)
  • ✅ You can filter results by address with the Filter search bar
  • ❌ You cannot start a Refi Finder search with only a property address at this time

Note: A property-specific search may be added in a future update.

What is My Refi Opportunities?

My Refi Opportunities is a private section of the Refi Finder that holds refinance opportunities from your own loans. RETR hides your loans from the main Refi Finder so other loan officers can’t find them, which lets you reach out to those borrowers yourself.
