How do I generate a Home Value Report?

Recapture your past borrowers and never lose a loan again with our new Home Value Report (HVR) feature!

With RETR's new Home Value Report (HVR) feature, you'll be able to enroll your past borrowers in Home Value Reports, which will send them a monthly email detailing their homes' value, and encouraging them to reach out to you to refinance, tap in to their equity, or buy a new home.  

To get started, head to More - Home Value Reports - Create and View Reports and click on Enroll Past Borrowers. When you hit Enroll, you'll have the ability to enter their email address, and trigger those reports to send monthly. 

We'll email you when there's activity, and you'll be able to track open rates in the Create and View Reports page. 

You'll be able to customize and view a sample of the report before sending as well!

FAQs:

  • Who has access? HVR access is currently available to all users on a paid monthly or yearly subscription, or enterprise users. 
  • How much does it cost? Users are able to use Home Value Reports for free with their subscription, and are able to enroll up to 100 borrowers a month free of charge.
  • How can I purchase more? For any additional borrowers you wish to enroll, we offer monthly subscription packages of 100 additional enrollments for $25 a month. To purchase more enrollment slots, head to the HVR homepage (More - Home Value Reports - Create and View Reports) and click on Enroll Past Borrowers. In that enrollment page you'll see an option to buy additional slots. Please note that this comes in a subscription format, so each month you'll receive the package count of your choosing in addition to your standard 100. 
  • What if I want to purchase more enrollment slots, but I'm on an enterprise account? Reach out to your enterprise account admin. We have HVR options available for enterprise accounts, with some additional perks, like additional slots, more customization, and AI tools! If you're already an admin, reach out to your RETR account rep for more info.
  • Can I customize the report? Yes, you can customize your headshot, company logo, and report color by going into your Account Settings (see video for details), allowing your HVRs to be branded to your company and color.
  • Who can I generate a report for? Currently, you can only generate a Home Value Report for your past buyers with whom you've closed loans with dating back to 2017. There is currently no ability to manually add borrowers of other LOs. In the future, we plan to expand this to provide the opportunity to upload new and prospective clients! Stay tuned!
  • When does the report go out? Your first Home Value Reports will go out to your borrowers the following morning after enrollment. After this, a new HVR will go out every 30 days, and won't stop unless you unenroll the borrower. 
  • How do I provide feedback? You can email support@retr.app with any feedback or additional questions you may have!
  • What if I'm not seeing one of my borrowers? Any borrower/buyer that you have closed a loan for as far back as 2017 (you must be the LO listed at closing) will appear in your enroll page. If a borrower is not listed, the loan may have already been refinanced by another LO.

  • The interest rate shown is incorrect? You can edit the interest rate when you enroll the borrower! When you click enroll, a pop up will appear where you can add your buyer's email address (needed to send the report) and where you can edit the interest rate before hitting "generate report".
  • I don't have my buyer's emails? RETR does not directly provide buyer/borrower emails on our platform, but not to worry! We offer resources on how you can locate that information. Learn more here: How do I search for buyer contact information?
  • I'm previewing a sample of the report I'm about to send to a buyer, but the links don't work? The links in the sample reports won't be operational, but rest assured they will work when you send it out!
  • What do the alert tiers mean? We'll track the activity of your HVR, so the tier will correspond with how urgent the activity is so you can act on it. A Tier 6 - Email Opened won't be as urgent as a Tier 2 - Unlock Equity, and this will notify you that your buyer may be interested. We'll let you know of this high tier events via email so you can reach out to the buyer. You can also find this activity in the activity section of your HVR homepage.
  • How can I un-enroll a borrower? Head to the Enroll Borrowers page and find the borrower you want to un-enroll. Hit the "Enrolled" button and confirm you want to un-enroll them.
  • Can I co-brand with an agent? Currently, HVRs do not support co-branding with an agent.
