How to Send Home Value Reports to Past Borrowers in RETR
Recapture your past borrowers and never lose a loan again with our new Home Value Report (HVR) feature!
RETR Home Value Reports (HVRs) are monthly emails that show your past borrowers their home’s current value and encourage them to contact you to refinance, tap their equity, or buy a new home. To start, go to More → Home Value Reports → Create and View Reports and click Enroll Past Borrowers. HVRs are included with paid plans for up to 100 borrowers per month.

Which Borrowers Can I Send Home Value Reports To?
- ✅ You can send HVRs to past borrowers you closed loans with, back to 2017, as long as you were the loan officer listed at closing.
- ❌ You cannot manually add borrowers from other loan officers.
- ❌ You cannot add new or prospective clients at this time.
Note: RETR plans to support uploading new and prospective clients in a future update.
Why Don’t I See One of My Borrowers?
Every borrower you closed a loan for since 2017 (where you were the loan officer at closing) should appear on your enrollment page. If one is missing, the loan may have been refinanced by another loan officer.
What If I Don’t Have My Borrower’s Email?
RETR doesn’t provide borrower email addresses. See How to find buyer contact information in RETR for ways to find them.
What If the Interest Rate Is Wrong?
You can edit the interest rate in the pop-up when you enroll the borrower, before you click “Generate Report.”
Can I Customize Home Value Reports?
- ✅ You can add your headshot, company logo, and report color in Account Settings (see the video for details).
- ✅ You can preview a sample report before sending.
- ❌ You cannot co-brand HVRs with a real estate agent at this time.
How Do I Track Home Value Report Activity?
- Track open rates on the Create and View Reports page.
- RETR emails you when a borrower reaches a high-interest engagement tier. In-app notifications are coming soon.
RETR doesn’t notify you about every bit of activity, only engagement that signals real interest, so you know when to reach out. Learn more: What do the HVR Alert Tiers mean?
