Can I Search for Real Estate Agents or Loan Officers by Property Type in RETR?
Not directly, but there are two workarounds. RETR doesn’t have a property type filter in agent or loan officer (LO) search yet. You can still find agents and LOs who work with specific property types (such as condos) using these two tools:
- ✅ Refi Finder: find loan officers by property type
- ✅ New Listings and Open Houses: find real estate agents by property type
- ❌ You cannot filter agent or loan officer search results by property type at this time
How to Find Loan Officers by Property Type Using the Refi Finder
The Refi Finder is mainly used to find refinance opportunities, but it also works well for finding loan officers who handle specific property types.
Step 1: Open the Refi Finder
Navigate to Mortgage - Find Opportunities - Refi Finder
Step 2: Open the “More” filter
After choosing a Location, click the “More” filter to see additional search options.
Step 3: Select property types
Choose the Property Types you want to see from the first option under More. The results will show loan officers who work with those property types (condos, land, single family, townhouses, etc.).

How to Find Real Estate Agents by Property Type Using New Listings and Open Houses
The New Listings and Open Houses search shows recent listings, along with the listing agents.
Step 1: Open the New Listings and Open Houses search
Go to Real Estate - Find Properties - New Listings & Open Houses
Step 2: Open the Property filter
After choosing a location and time period, click the “Property” filter.
Step 3: Select a property type
Choose the property type you want to see (condos, land, multi-family, etc). The results will show new listings of that type.
Step 4: Review the listing agents
Use the agents on those listings as a starting list of agents who work with that property type.
This search only includes listings from the last 45 days, so treat it as a starting point rather than a complete list of agents for that property type.

Can I Search a Property Address in RETR?
No, currently there is no property search in RETR, but you can use the Refi Finder to search properties, so long as they are eligible for Refis.
Step 1: Open the Refi Finder
Navigate to Mortgage - Find Opportunities - Refi Finder
Step 2: Choose a Location
You will need to choose a location. Keep in mind that for the Refi Finder, the location search is limited to city, county, or ZIP code. There is no state or nationwide search option.
Step 3: Use the Filter Results bar
To the right will be a Filter Results search bar where you can type out a property address.
Will RETR Add More Property Type Filters?
Yes, that’s the plan. As RETR grows, we hope to add more property type filters across the platform, so stay tuned for updates.
